About Conference:

The 2^nd International Scientific Conference comes as an initiative of the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at Amman Arab University (AAU). It deals with a vital topic in our contemporary world entitled the “Scientific Research in the Digital Age". Scientific research in the digital environment has a great role in the continuation of the educational and research process. The digital scientific process has developed tremendously lately in local, regional and global universities, particularly during the COVID- 19 pandemic at the end of 2019. This led to a significant increase in the use of information and communication technology.

Consequently, digital transformation facilitates researchers, interested individuals and graduate students in various research fields to reconsider the role of information technology and deal with cloud computing and big data as well as provide necessary electronic requirements. Since the beginning of 2020, COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of human life. E-learning has become one of the first electronic services adopted by most countries in the world to accelerate and maintain the continuation of the educational process during the Corona pandemic. 

To maintain continuation of the educational process, universities and faculty members have used many educational online platforms and applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Skype. This was necessary to keep pace with students and achieve the ultimate goal of the educational and scientific process and try to overcome prevailing challenges and take advantage of available opportunities. The Deanship of Science Research and Graduate Studies has conducted many distance research activities. Many master's theses, research projects, and counselling sessions have been successfully held through various educational platforms.

Submission Guidelines:

• Papers should be related to one of the themes or tracks of the conference.
• Papers are reviewed by the scientific committee.
• Papers are accepted in both Arabic and English.
• The first page of the research paper should include the followings: the name of the conference, the organizers, the full title of the research (Arabic & English), the researcher's full name, the academic degree, the affiliation and the e-mail address.
• Papers should be prepared in Microsoft Word.
• Papers should be original, recent and with solid scientific methodology.
• Papers submitted are not published or submitted for publishing elsewhere.
• Papers should not exceed 20 pages or (10,000) words, including references and appendixes as follows:

3- Title of the research in both Arabic and English

4- Introduction

5- Problem, significance and objectives of the research

9- References should be written in accordance with international standards (APA), 7^th Ed.

10- Work in Progress is accepted in the conference. Papers shall not be published in the conference proceeding until they have been fully completed and re-subjected to a review process.

Important Notes

• Research papers shall be sent to the coordinator of the Scientific Committee (Dr. Daher Alqurashi) at the following e-mail (rsda2021@yahoo.com).
• Participation fees: Participation and attendance of the conference is FREE. A certificate of participation will be issued to the participant (and co-authors if any).

Important Dates:

• The deadline for abstract’s submission is May 10^th, 2021.
• Participants will be notified of the result of the abstract review within a week of receipt.
• The deadline for final research’s submission is May 25^th, 2021.
• The researcher will be notified with the final acceptance within a week of receiving the full research.

Paper Publication Opportunity

All accepted papers will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Amman Arab University after undergoing a due review process. The AAU journal is indexed in EBSCO HOST database. Prior to the publication, a processing fee of 50 JD (or equivalent) should be transferred to the following bank account:
