President of Amman Arab University Visits the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain

President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, visited the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where he was received by His Excellency the Ambassador, Mr. Ahmed bin Youssef Al-Ruwai’i, in the presence of Dr. Marwa Al-Jassim / Advisor to the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Jordan,Dr. Miteb Al-Otaibi, Chairman of the Committee for Recruiting Students Coming from the Gulf Countries at Amman Arab University, where during the meeting, light was shed on the educational opportunities available at Amman Arab University for students, and the efforts made by the University to improve the academic and learning process of majors and colleges to achieve excellence, as well as embodying the spirit of leadership and excellence among students and the preparation of qualified and trained cadres that meet the requirements and needs of global and local markets.

Prof. Al-Widyan pointed out during the meeting that Amman Arab University was and still is a destination for Arab students because of its inspiring vision and message to reach advanced ranks in scientific classifications locally and internationally, which comes as a result of the efforts of all the University’s employees. He added that the University welcomes Bahraini students to study in the two stages: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, stressing the depth of the relationship between the two peoples and the two wise leaderships. Prof. Al-Widyan pointed out that the University includes colleges and majors that are unique in the Middle East, such as the College of Aviation Sciences, and the data science and artificial intelligence.

And digital marketing, a master's degree in strategic management, a master's degree in arbitration and commercial dispute resolution, in addition to a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in pharmacovigilance and its legislation, which were created recently.

For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Al-Ruwaie stressed that Jordanian-Bahraini relations are characterized by deep communication and the strength of the close fraternal relations that bring together the two brotherly countries. He said that the strength of this relationship appears from the advanced level of cooperation existing between the two countries in various fields, and the special affection that the two brotherly peoples have for each other, as well as the strength of communication. Between the two wise leaders, he also praised the level of higher education in Jordan, especially at Amman Arab University, which has witnessed development and progress in several areas of infrastructure, keeping pace with technical developments, employing artificial intelligence in teaching science, and its uniqueness in the specializations required in the regional labor market.
