President of Amman Arab University and President of the Harvard University Alumni Club Discuss Aspects of Cooperation
Coping with Amman Arab University’s efforts to enhance academic cooperation, consolidate educational relations, research and implement many courses and lectures, and exchange experiences, President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, received Mr. Basil Al-Araj, President of the Harvard University Alumni Club.
During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation were discussed by providing educational awareness lectures, conducting joint activities, and exchanging experiences and ideas with the faculty, graduates, and students of the University. Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan indicated that the University, within the objectives of the work of the International Office and External Relations at the University, is based on establishing joint academic programs and cooperation in the field of joint scientific research and student exchange, in addition to building bridges of international and regional cooperation to enable the University to obtain diverse knowledge and resources and provide them with the expertise that distinguishes the university from its counterparts.
For his part, Mr. Basil Al-Araj stressed that opening horizons of cooperation between the Harvard University Alumni Club, which includes a distinguished elite of Jordanians, and Amman Arab University will work to stimulate university students about the importance of completing graduate studies, in addition to conducting courses for university students on general and other topics that keep pace with their needs and participating in programs, and attracting part-time lecturers to give specialized and general lectures.
It is noteworthy that Prof. Al-Widyan holds a certificate in public administration from Harvard University, in addition to being a member of the alumni club (alumna) of Harvard Business School.
