Amman Arab University Launches “Hult Prize” Competition

Under the patronage of the President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, and organized by the Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University, the induction day was opened, which was organized by the Halt Prize competition team at the University and in the presence of the Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs, Professor. In turn, Prof. Al-Widyan welcomed in his speech the University’s guests, faculty members, and participating students. He stressed in his speech that the University will always support the students, their participation, and their pioneering and creative ideas in various fields, and that these events dedicate the concept of “leadership and excellence,” adopted by the University.

Jordanian entrepreneur Malak Al-Aqili also presented her personal experience in the world of entrepreneurship and provided students with many inspiring motivational phrases, stimulating them to be entrepreneurial models for future generations. It is noteworthy that this day, in which the students participated in all its aspects, came to introduce their colleagues at the university to the Hult Prize International Award. The Hult Prize team, represented by the campus director, student Rosa Sako, gave a detailed presentation about the award and the method of registration and participation.

It is worth noting that the Hult Prize organizes a competition for University students around the world, where participating teams compete to create projects and implement innovative, pioneering ideas aimed at solving chronic social problems. Accordingly, the winning team receives a prize of one million US dollars as seed capital to launch the project. Their company and expand the scope of the project.
