"Amman Arab University" Meets Partisan Students

The Deanship of Student Affairs at the Amman Arab University organized a meeting with partisan students at the University. The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, and the Assistant Dean, Dr. Mishaal Al-Jarrah, met them.

During the meeting, Dr. Bani Hamdan talked about the practice of partisan work in institutions of higher education, and indicated that the university administration and the Deanship of Student Affairs understand the participation of students in partisan work at the University and are working to help them in that, and that students are no longer threatened by any party if they practice partisan work, and that the law of parties and the system practicing partisan work in higher education institutions has guaranteed students their right to partisan work in higher education institutions and it protects students from any pressure on them, as a result of their practice of partisan work within the university.

He also indicated that the law on parties and the system for practicing partisan work in higher education institutions has been approved, as (27) parties have been licensed in Jordan, and that students should refer to the law and order in order to know what they have and what they have to do while practicing partisan work in the university, because it is the basis on which it is run. Students in the practice of partisan work at the University, and he talked about how to submit a request to practice partisan work at the University, and the decisions taken in this regard by the Dean of Student Affairs, and that the student has the right to object to the university president in the event that the request is not approved by the Dean of Student Affairs.
