Amman Arab University Visits Business Accelerators at King Hussein Business Park

Amman - A delegation from the College of Business at the Amman Arab University visited the King Hussein Business Complex. The delegation was accompanied by a group of students from the Department of Business Administration, in the presence of Dr. Mutie Al-Shibli, Dr. Amr Al-Zaghoul, Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Ghaith Al-Sheikh, Dr. Imad Al-Mualla and Dr. Rami Al-Hananda. The tour included a visit  The Idea Factory - TechWorks to learn about the stages of manufacturing, whether it is a product, an invention, or an interactive technical installation, and watch the stages of design and manufacturing, and see what the Idea Factory provides in terms of support and empowerment for entrepreneurs and startups, which is one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, and then the delegation visited the zinc business platform  With the support of Zain Telecom Company, learn about the services and support provided to entrepreneurs in terms of office space, logistical and technical support, and training courses and lectures related to entrepreneurship to empower entrepreneurs.

The delegation also visited the business platform of Umniah Company (Tank) to view the platform and the support it provides regarding the provision of private office space and courses related to entrepreneurship and empowerment for entrepreneurs. The tour concluded in the Jordanian Games Laboratory - King Abdullah II Fund for Development, and also to learn about the support it provides.  The laboratory is sponsored by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development. It includes courses related to the electronic games industry, courses that focus on entrepreneurship and capacity building, training rooms, and a technical laboratory equipped with the latest equipment to support and empower entrepreneurs and business developers in the electronic games industry.

In this regard, the coordinator of the visit, Dr. Mutie’ Al-Shibli, emphasized that such a visit would strengthen the relationship between the university, the labor market, the private sector, and similar national and international institutions, which support innovation and innovators among Jordanian men and women, and work to encourage technical education and strengthen the innovation system in Jordan through  Bringing together young people and ideas, and creating an integrated umbrella that brings together researchers, scholars and innovators, and gives them the opportunity to manufacture prototypes for their products using advanced technology in the fields of digital manufacturing that includes 3D printing and according to the manufacturers’ goals, whether for marketing or development.
