Discussing Graduation Projects of Civil Engineering Department at Amman Arab University


Department of Civil Engineering at the college of Engineering at Amman Arab University discussed a group of graduation projects .These projects are distinguished by their diversity and coverage of the fields of knowledge for civil engineering major in the field of water, environmental, road engineering, and construction that serve the local community.  And Eng. Nabil Al-Fayoumi, graduation projects submitted by students of the Civil Engineering Department and in the presence of representatives of the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, Eng. Omar Al-Wuraidat, General Manager of Al-Mohandes Company for Construction Contracting, and Engineer Jaafar Tomar, Technical Director at Ammon Contracting Company, who participated in the discussion, and the graduation projects were as follows:

1- Dr.  Sami Ayyad supervised two graduation projects in the field of road and traffic engineering. The first project included re-designing the road connecting Zarqa and Al-Naima area, and the second project included a proposal to solve the problem of the traffic crisis on Sweileh Road passing through the University of Jordan.
2- Dr. Omar Asaad supervised the graduation project, which included the analysis of the sources of pollution in the Shafa Badran waterway and soil pollution in the torrent and its impact on the surrounding environment.
3- Dr. Muhammad Al-Nawaisa supervised two graduation projects in the field of construction. The first project included re-designing the Ain Al-Basha municipality building, and the second project included the design of a reinforced concrete building.
 

 It is noteworthy that these distinguished projects enhance the students' experience and skills in practical aspects and the requirements of the engineering professional market and enhance students' opportunities in the Jordanian labor market.
