In the Presence of the administrator of the Ain Al-Basha Brigade, College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University Holds a Charitable Iftar for Orphaned Students and those with Special Needs.

College of Educational and Psychological Sciences/Special Education Department at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the “Office of Practical Education, Creativity and Community Service” at the college, held a charitable Ramadan iftar party on the University campus for more than (150) orphaned children and people with special needs from the Ain al-Basha and Baqa’a regions, and a delegate. On behalf of the President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President’s Assistant for Academic Affairs, Professor. Ismail Yamin, the Superintendent of the Ain Al-Basha Brigade, received Dr. Ibrahim Al-Rawahna in the presence of Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences and the College of Arts and Sciences, Professor. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, a number of members of the academic and administrative staff, directors of the security services in the Ain Al-Basha Brigade, representatives of charitable societies in the Al-Baqa’a and Ain Al-Basha areas, and a group of students’ families.

The Iftar included a charity bazaar for popular foods opened by Dr. Al-Rawahna and Dr. Yamin, which represented the heritage of (Circassians, Chechens, Palestine, and the sisterly Sultanate of Oman), in addition to entertainment segments and recreational games to put a smile on the faces of children, organized by the “Student Club” team at the college and the “We Live with Dignity” team for social work. Volunteering, offering competitions in an atmosphere of love between the children and the volunteer team, and distributing gifts and incentive prizes to outstanding students.

Dr. Al-Rawahna expressed his thanks and appreciation to Amman Arab University and its great and distinguished role in serving the community and serving the people of Ain Al-Basha Brigade and the students, which stems from its community responsibility towards its surroundings. This activity comes within the university’s community responsibility towards the local community in its various categories, and these efforts come as confirmation of its keenness to Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Wadyan, President of the University, stressed the need for partnership with the areas surrounding the University to spread its sublime humanitarian message.
