Prof. Al-Widyan Discusses Ways of Joint Cooperation between “Amman Arab University” and the Turkish Embassy in Jordan
President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, accompanied by the Director of the International Office and External Relations, Dr. Muhammad Sahwil, visited the Embassy of the Turkish Republic in Amman, where they were received by His Excellency Ambassador Erdam Ozan, with the aim of discussing ways of joint cooperation in several fields.
During the meeting, Prof. Al-Widyan gave a comprehensive explanation about Amman Arab University, the colleges and centers it hosts, and the various activities it carries out at the level of faculty members and students, noting that the University is opening its doors to various international educational institutions and bodies in order to build bridges of cooperation in relevant academic and research fields of the common interest and what it aspires to achieve in terms of a qualitative leap to bring the university to the highest levels by adopting a networking policy with various international universities.
During the visit, the establishment of joint programs with the Yunus Emre Institute was discussed, which provides activities in the field of teaching the Turkish language to non-native speakers, in addition to opening channels for networking with Turkish universities to increase opportunities for research cooperation and academic exchange within the Erasmus+ program funded by the European Union.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Al-Widyan thanked His Excellency the Ambassador for the warm reception and handed him the shield of the Amman Arab University.
