Advanced Workshop for College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University for Developing Skills

The College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University organized a training workshop entitled "Navigating the Future Essential Skills and Strategies for Entering the Labor Market" in cooperation with the Information Technology Club. The workshop aimed to develop students’ skills and qualify them to meet the needs of the local and international labor market in the field of computers and software engineering.

The training workshop was presented by engineer Dana Khawaila from Aspire Company, who has more than 5 years of experience in the field of QA, which included a detailed explanation about the professional work paths available to software engineering students. The course also included practical examples and witnessed the students’ positive interaction with the workshop topics, and engineer Dana answered at the end the workshop addressed the students’ questions and directed them towards professionalism in their various fields of information technology.

In turn, Engineer Dana pointed out the importance of such interactive lectures in transferring expertise from the private sector to universities to help students adapt to the labor market. She thanked the Student Club of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University for organizing such events.

For his part, Dr. Hussam Al-Hamad, Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at the University, confirmed that the college is adopting a plan to attract experts in the professional field to guide students towards a better understanding of the jobs available in the labor market.
