"Amman Arab University" Ranked Sixth among Local Universities in the Scientific Research Classification AD Scientific 2024.
Amman Arab University achieved an advanced rank in the AD Scientific 2024 global classification for scientific research, citations, and impact factor i10-index and H-index for the last six years, as the University ranked sixth locally out of 34 public and private universities, and was ranked third among Jordanian private universities, specifically, by the impact factors i10-index and H-index, and ranked fifth among them by the factor of the number of citations to scientific research submitted by its faculty members.
59 faculty members, constituting approximately one-third of the university’s faculty members, were selected by the AD Scientific Index classification body as the best globally distinguished researchers for the quality of their research and its spread around the world and from various university specializations. Four of them were among the best 40% researchers in the world.
President of the University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, highlighted the importance of the university’s major role in achieving all classification criteria, including attracting faculty members from distinguished researchers, and providing an appropriate and competitive scientific research environment at the university.
Amman Arab University was and still is a destination for Arab students because of its distinguished vision and inspiring message to reach advanced ranks in scientific classifications locally and internationally, Prof. Al-Widyan praised the University’s achievement of advanced ranks in this and other classifications, and appreciated the efforts of all university employees, the Deanship of Scientific Research, and the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, for following up on all standards, and developing plans for improvement and academic and research development in The university adopts encouraging policies, procedures and incentives and follows up on their implementation.
