Students of Computer Science and Informatics at Amman Arab University Excel at the Local and International Levels

President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics, Dr. Hussam Al-Hamad, honored two students: Islam Rahal and Yazan Saleh for their distinguished achievements at the local and international levels.

This event comes from the university administration in appreciation of the tangible contributions of the student Islam Rahal, who designed and developed many systems and applications for local and international entities, including the platform for linking industry and academic institutions, JAIP Connect, which is the first online academic-industrial commercial platform in the region, which enables the exploitation of the results of researchers' projects are achieved through dynamic consensus models in various fields of life sciences. It also facilitates effective communication between academic researchers and companies, and bridges the gap between academia and industry.

Prof. Al-Widyan also honored the student Yazan Saleh for his excellence in passing all the exams of the National Center for Cybersecurity, and for obtaining a prestigious job in the field of cybersecurity, to be one of five chosen from among (6,000) applicants. His excellence was not limited to this extent, but the student Yazan achieved advanced positions in several local and international competitions in the field of cybersecurity (CTF), this contributes to strengthening the University’s standard as a center for developing talents and skills at the local and international levels.

In this regard, the Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, said that this honor comes to motivate students to advance and participate in various fields that aim to prepare distinguished and competitive technical competencies capable of acquiring and applying knowledge and capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the labor market. This honor also reflects recognition of efforts, and tangible achievements of creative students in the fields of science and technology at the university and in various field.
