College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University Implements a Training Workshop for Faculty Members at Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates
Amman – Coping with the vision of Amman Arab University within the framework of scientific and research cooperation and exchange of experiences with international and Arab universities, Dr. Moeen Salman Al-Nasraween, a faculty member in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, implemented a training workshop entitled “Using Nonparametric Tests,” which was held by the Human Resources Development Center at Al Ain University – in the United Arab Emirates, which targeted faculty members from various colleges at Al Ain University via the (Teams) platform.
The workshop included a definition of nonparametric tests, their types, and the most important differences between them and parametric tests. then, applied examples were presented through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, which included the following nonparametric tests: (MANN-WHITENY, KRUSKAL WALLIS, and WILCOXONs' MATCHED). The interactive training workshop took place between the lecturer and participating faculty members conducted a comprehensive dialogue, through which the lecturer answered all questions and inquiries.
The participants praised the topic of the workshop and the way in which it was presented.
