Amman Arab University Honors Outstanding Students in High School in Ain Al-Basha and Al-Baqaa Camp
Amman - The Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Amman Arab University, Dr. Omar Mashhour Al- jazzy sponsored a celebration of outstanding students in high school for people of Ain Al-Basha District, Al-Baqa’a Camp, Salhoub District, Al-Sulaihi District, Al-Rumman District, Mobus District, and Abu Nusair District, in the presence of: Acting President of the University, Professor . Hassan Al-Zoubi, the Mayor of Ain Al-Basha, Engineer Jamal Al-Faouri, His Excellency the MP, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sarahna, the Chairman of the Baqaa Camp Services Committee, Dr. Hassan Marshoud, and Mr. Maher Al-Kalloub, Director of the Ain Al-Basha District Development Directorate ,and Mr. Khaled Al-Alwan, Director of the Directorate of Education for the Ain Al-Basha region, Dr. Hazem Al-Nsour, Mr. Osama Al-Wreikat, member of the Decentralization Council / Balqa Governorate, deans of colleges and directors of administrative units at the university, and a number of local community notables.
Dr. Al-Jazi said at the celebration held in the theater of the Baqaa Camp Services Committee that it was one of the happiest moments that prompted us to come and share with you this precious occasion successfully.
Pointing out that every year, Amman Arab University takes it upon itself to organize such a celebration in honor of these students, based on its social responsibility towards the local community, and in line with the directives of the country’s leader, His Majesty King Abdullah II, who has always stood behind the development of the educational process in the Kingdom .
In turn, Prof. Al-Zoubi said that this position that Amman Arab University takes today towards this distinguished elite of these students in this region is a matter of social responsibility through which the university seeks to enhance participation with society in all its governmental and private sectors and provide services with all its capabilities at the academic levels.
Dr. Hassan Marshoud, Chairman of the Baqaa Camp Committee, expressed his pride at Amman Arab University for the many discounts and privileges it offers to the local community and to the camp’s children. He praised the distinguished efforts made by Amman Arab University to make the education process successful for its students and improve academic outcomes. He thanked the teachers and school principals for their efforts in educational administration. At the end of the celebration, the sponsor of the ceremony presented the university shield to the principals of Ain Al-Basha District schools, and distinguished gifts of appreciation were distributed to the top students in high school.
