"Amman Arab University” and Amman Chamber of Industry Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
Amman - Based on the joint cooperation between Amman Arab University and local community institutions, the Acting President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Hassan Al-Zoubi, and his accompanying delegation visited the Amman Chamber of Industry.The delegation was received by the President of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, and members of the Chamber of Industry, to sign a memorandum of cooperation and understanding to direct projects, systems and university scientific research towards meeting the needs of the industrial sector and developing competitiveness and to conduct applied research projects based on the needs of the industrial sector.
On this occasion, Prof. Al-Zoubi indicated that this memorandum will enable the provision of specialized consultations in various fields such as administrative, financial and marketing to solve the problems of the industrial sector and achieve industrial development, in addition to industrial creativity and innovation and the development of industrial products. At the level of training and qualification, Prof. Al-Zoubi stated that there will be training for students in companies during the academic stages before graduation, specialists working in the industrial sector with experience and competence will be attracted to provide scientific lectures to students in various fields.
In turn, Engineer Al-Jaghbir highlighted the importance of this memorandum of cooperation through building bridges of cooperation and networking with leading national academic institutions in scientific fields, such as Amman Arab University, to develop scientific outlets to increase creativity and innovation and enhance research achievements in the industrial sector. He added that Amman Chamber of Industry is working to provide services and programs to increase capacity, competitiveness of Jordanian products locally and globally, by supporting policies, enhancing confidence in the national product, developing technical, technological, administrative and marketing capabilities, and providing world-class services to them, in order to reach sustainable economic development based on the industrial economy. Al-Jaghbir also confirmed providing all types of support to the university through training, qualification, and establishing research projects with members of the university’s staff.
