Aviation Science Students at Amman Arab University Design an Anti-Jamming Drone
Under the auspices of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Staff Pilot Youssef Al-Hunaiti, the College of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University participated in the innovation and creativity initiative, organized by the Jordanian Center for Design and Development (JODDB) for the year 2023.
The university was represented by the initiative, in which (72) teams from various Jordanian universities participated, which were held at the Royal Tank Museum: Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasban, the student Mamoun Odaibat, the student Hadi Al-Hunaiti, and the student Ibrahim Al-Nimr, under the supervision of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty of Aviation Sciences, Amman Arab University. This participation is implemented under the directives of Prof. Muhamad Al-Widyan, the President of the University, with a creative design for a drone for visual communication, resistant to interference with the GPS navigation signal, and resistant to collisions inside buildings
In this regard ,Dr. Al-Assaf said that this participation comes to motivate students to progress and participate in various fields, which aim to prepare distinguished and competitive technical competencies capable of acquiring and applying knowledge and keeping up with the requirements of the labor market.
