Al-Bashayrah from Amman Arab University on the List of the 100 Sustainability Champions for 2023
The International Union for Social Responsibility announced the list (the 100 sustainability champions in the Middle East and North Africa region for the year 2023) based on its global classification on sustainability, and the International Union for Social Responsibility is one of the international organizations that seeks to build a professional international system that contributes to promoting social responsibility practices and their application in the world through partnership with specialized international, governmental, private and community entities. The list included large and influential personalities from the Middle East and North Africa countries across the honorary and professional categories
The advisor of Amman Arab University for social responsibility, Mr. Bassam Al-Bashayra, was selected among the list of (the hundred sustainability champions in the Middle East and North Africa region for the year 2023), and the selection of Al-Bashayra came in recognition of his achievements in the field of sustainability applications and its consolidation as an institutional practice. It is worth mentioning that Amman Arab University, through the Social Responsibility Office, is based on building prospects for cooperation with sustainable development and global social responsibility organizations, and providing educational, training and socio-economic programs, projects and initiatives that promote sustainable development. The University is the official headquarters of the Arab Council for Sustainable Development emanating from the Union of Arab Universities.
It is also an exclusive representative in Jordan for the Regional Network for Social Responsibility and a member of the International Union for Social Responsibility, and it is linked by agreements and partnerships with many official and private local institutions.
