Pharmacy undergraduate students in Amman Arab University publish their research in international scientific journals listed in international databases

The Scientific Research Club at the College of Pharmacy in Amman Arab University achieved its first milestone by publishing two scientific research papers for pharmacy undergraduate students under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Rana Abu-Huwaij. The first paper was authored by the Adyan Al-Karwi, Dima Al-Sulman, and Farqan Al-Karwi, entitled “Exploring the Use of Niosomes in Cosmetics for Efficient Dermal Drug Delivery”. It was published in Pharmaceutical Development & Technology Q2, SCIE impact factor 3.4 by Taylor & Francis. And the second one by the student Abdullah Zaidan, entitled “Unlocking the Potential of Cosmetic Transdermal Delivery with Ethosomes: A Comprehensive Review”, which was published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology Q2, SCIE impact factor 2.3 by Wiley.

It is worth mentioning that the Scientific Research Club at the College of Pharmacy, Amman Arab University, was established at the beginning of the current academic year 2022/2023 under the supervision of the pharmaceutical engineer Rayya Al-Dawood, with the aim of promoting a culture of scientific research among students and developing their research and writing skills to excel in the job market.

In this regard, Professor Dr. Rana Abu Hawij, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, pointed out that the members of the Scientific Research Club are working on completing eight pharmaceutical scientific research papers, which are expected to be published at the beginning of the new academic year. This will enhance the capabilities of undergraduate students at the college and provide them with valuable competitive experience, in addition to contributing to the ambitious research goals of the university.
