In its continuous efforts to achieve strategic goals and future aspirations across all aspects, Amman Arab University has advanced steadily by five positions in the Webometrics ranking compared to the previous cycle, achieving the ninth position among Jordanian government and private universities. The university has also attained notable positions on both Arab and international levels.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, highlighted that the university's achievement in the Webometrics ranking results from the collective efforts of all its staff. He thanked the Information and Communication Technology Center for executing a comprehensive plan to enhance the ranking. He emphasized that the university has devised an ambitious plan to continuously improve and develop all its domains, aiming to secure an advanced position among local and regional universities and achieve a strong ranking in global classifications. He added that the university's website serves as a window to display its excellence and efforts in various academic and research fields, as well as its contributions to the local community. It reflects a positive image of its students and staff, meeting stakeholders' expectations and contributing to elevating the university's global standing.

It's worth mentioning that Webometrics ranking is an internationally recognized classification for universities worldwide. It is organized by a center affiliated with Spain's largest public research organization. The ranking encompasses three levels: global, regional, and national. It was introduced in 2004, covering 16,000 universities. The ranking aims to classify academic institutions globally, demonstrating their outstanding scientific level and improving scientific competencies across all academic sectors.
