Amman Arab University is proud to announce the attainment of accreditation for its Health Training Center specializing in Basic Life Support. This prestigious recognition comes from the American Institute of Health and Safety (HSI), acknowledging the center's unwavering dedication to upholding the standards and guidelines set forth by the American Institute of Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance.

The accreditation certificate was officially granted by the Director General of Globolos General Trading and Contracting Company, the authorized distributor for the Middle East and North Africa region, and the Director General of Emergency Medical Care at the American Institute of Health and Safety HSI. This accreditation empowers the center to offer advanced training courses and specialized educational programs that are internationally accredited by the American Institute for Safety and Health.

The accreditation certificate was presented to Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Wadiyan, President of Amman Arab University, in the presence of Mr. Moataz Arabiyat, the Undersecretary of Arab Countries in the Middle East, and the accredited distributor for Jordan, the Hope Farmer Academy. Both parties emphasized the profound significance of establishing this center, recognizing its potential to elevate standards in health training.

Dr. Al-Wadiyan highlighted that Amman Arab University is committed to enhancing and modernizing all its centers and units, aligning with global advancements and scientific progress. This endeavor aims to achieve excellence and the required quality in performance, bolstering the university's competitive edge in providing exceptional training and advisory services across various disciplines.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Rana Abu Hawig, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University, underscored the importance of the courses offered by the center. These courses equip participants with essential expertise and skills to effectively manage health emergencies, administer first aid, and perform basic cardiac resuscitation. The curriculum includes Basic Life Support (BLS) courses and comprehensive first aid training.

Dr. Abu Hawij emphasized the strategic decision to establish this center within the Faculty of Pharmacy. This choice aligns with the university's vision of leadership and excellence while fortifying the role of the Faculty of Pharmacy in advancing sustainable development and community health. Furthermore, the center fulfills the university's and the local community's demand for comprehensive health services, encompassing first aid and cardiopulmonary care.

Dr. Rana Al-Zu'bi, Director General of the Hope Growers Academy and the accredited distributor of the American Institute of Health and Peace HSI in Jordan, pointed out that the American Institute encompasses over 8,000 training centers worldwide. These centers, both within and beyond the United States, confer internationally recognized certificates upon successful completion of first aid, basic, and advanced cardiopulmonary skills training.
