College of Business at Amman Arab University Visits Jordan Bromine Company

Amman Arab University organized a field visit for students of the Faculty of Business - Accounting Department to the Jordan Bromine Company in Ghor Al-Safi. Jordan, which is considered one of the world's leading companies in the industrial sector that contributes to supporting the national economy and its main goal is to continue making a positive impact on the local and national levels, with the presence of the four main pillars of sustainability: which are the environment and its employees, supervision of products and community contribution, according to the directives and visions of the master of the country, His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein, may God protect and preserve him.

During the visit, which was supervised by Dr. Alaa Al-Bawat, a faculty member in the College of Business, the students listened to an explanation of the idea of the company presented by Eng. Yasmin Al-Mahamid, Training Coordinator at the Jordan Bromine Company. Mr. Haitham Al-Banna, Supervisor of the Accounting Department and Supervisor of Payroll, gave an explanation of all stages of the financial system in addition to explaining how to record the company's accounting operations, dividing the company's accounts, and methods of calculating the company's costs and expenses. Mr. Sami Asheibat from the financial department reviewed the necessary skills for accountants that the labor market needs.

The scientific visit concluded by looking at how the accounting courses are divided in the company, which allowed the students the opportunity to ask their questions about how the accounting registration and the practical problems facing the accountant in practice,and the administrative and financial staff to facilitate and organize this field visit and the good reception of the students of Amman Arab University and to provide this opportunity for students in order to enhance cooperation, transparency and environmental and social awareness, and to provide an incentive for growth and continuous development and in order to serve the local community, while the students expressed their happiness with this visit, stressing that it was an incentive Strong for further educational attainment and skills acquisition.
