Pioneering Projects by Architecture Students at Amman Arab University
Amman - Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan , President of Amman Arab University and representing him, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Abdullah Al-Adenat, the Head of the Department of Architecture, Prof. Hanan Ahmed, faculty members and administrative staff in the college, opened discussion and arbitration sessions for students’ graduation projects Department of Architecture at Amman Arab University for the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023.
(21) Projects for students from the Department of Architecture Engineering, graduation project (2), were discussed under the supervision of Dr. Osama Al-Khasawneh and Dr. Samer Al-Ratrout, where the students presented distinguished projects distributed between pilot projects and projects that serve the local community.
The students were divided into five discussion committees consisting of academic professors, practicing architects, and consultants with professional and academic experience. The projects were judged and evaluated during the discussions, which reflected positively on the quality of the students’ engineering projects. During the discussion sessions, Prof. Tarawneh opened the annual exhibition of the projects of the students of the Department of Architecture, where she explained this Concerning that these distinguished projects enhance the experience and skills of students in the practical aspects and the requirements of the engineering professional market and enhance students' opportunities in the Jordanian labor market.
