Under the directives of Amman Arab University to obtain international accreditations and under the direct guidance of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of the University, Amman Arab University / College of Aviation Sciences has achieved the requirements for membership of the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI): Aviation Accreditation Board International. The college has been accredited as a training institute - a member of the council in the field of aviation sciences with the Bachelor of Aircraft Maintenance program offered by the college since 2018.

The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) was created in 1988 at the initiative of 100 colleges and universities with aviation programs that recognized the need to set standards for peer and industry review with the purpose of serving as the authoritative accrediting body for all aviation disciplines.

This accreditation constitutes a system for the recognition of educational institutions and/or their professional programs that achieve and maintain a level of performance, integrity and quality that gives them the trust of the educational community, the industry and the user they serve.

To achieve accreditation, aviation programs must meet the expectations of a wide range of quality standards related to the strategic management of resources, faculty and student interactions in the educational and achieve the learning objectives for a degree as AABI's team of academics and industrialists visit the institution to evaluate programs against accreditation criteria.

It is noteworthy that the Amman Arab University is the first Arab university to obtain this membership in the region and the Arab world in the field of aircraft maintenance, in order to achieve its motto of entrepreneurship and excellence, and to achieve the objectives and mission of the University with full efficiency and competence in its various majors. This achievement comes by joining this membership among the first seventy universities in the world in the field of aviation with its various specializations, only five of which are in the field of aircraft maintenance, and the Amman Arab University ranked sixth in the world.

In addition to obtaining membership in the AABI International Aviation Accreditation Council, the University has nominated a bachelor's program in aviation maintenance to apply for the final stage of international accreditation to obtain final accreditation in the field of maintenance within the next few months.
