Amman Arab University Participates in the Activities of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Gift Project

Amman - Amman Arab University participated in the event of the launch ceremony of the gift project of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, of fasting people for the year 1444 AH and the distribution of dates and Qurans in the Office of the Islamic Counselor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The University was represented by Dr. Bilal Abu Qaddum, Dean of the College of Sharia’ and Dr. Abdullah Abu Shawar, a faculty member. The meeting dealt with introducing the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia inside and outside Saudi Arabia, and talking about the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries.

Dr. Abu Qaddum met with His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dalyij, the Saudi religious advisor, and talked about means of developing relations to attract Saudi students to study at the College of Sharia’ and other colleges and discuss ways of cooperation, partnership and benefit from scientific and educational programs.

It is noteworthy that the Fasting Program aims to distribute 12,500 meals, targeting various Jordanian governorates and Palestinian and Syrian camps, in addition to charities and orphanages. 5 tons of high quality dates will also be distributed, and 5,000 Qurans from the publications of the King Fahd Complex to print the Holy Quran in Medina.
