Student Competition for students of the Department of English Language and Translation at Amman Arab University"
Languages and Translation Center at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Department of English Language and Translation at the College of Arts and Sciences at the University, held a competition under the supervision of Dr. May Al-Shaikhli, Director of Language and Translation Center, and Dr. Yazan Al-Mahmeed, Head of the Department of English Language and Translation.
The competition consisted of three teams and included a set of linguistic and literary questions, where the questions were asked with four possible answers and one correct answer, and each question had three points, and the team with the highest points was the winner. The competition also included gifts for the winning team and resulted in the victory of team A consisting of students (Rahaf Nidal Musa Youssef, Rose Jaafar Abdulaziz Al-Wreikat, Dara Wajdi Jamil Halasa).Finally, Dr. Yazan Al-Mahamid distributed gifts to the winning team, in the presence of the department’s students and faculty members.
