Seminar "Jerusalem in the Eyes of the Hashemites" at Amman Arab University

Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Amman University, Dr. Omar Mashhour Al-Jazi, and in the presence of the President of the University, the Deanship of Student Affairs at the University organized a seminar entitled (Jerusalem in the Eyes of the Hashemites) with the participation of His Excellency Dr. Ezzat Jaradat, Secretary General of the Islamic Conference of Jerusalem, His Eminence Dr. Hamdi Murad, Dr. Abdullah Al-Abadi, former Secretary General at the Ministry of Awqaf, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Hazema, former Dean of the College of Beit Al-Hikma at Al-Bayt University

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Al-Jazi, presented the importance of holding this symposium, which Amman Arab University has been organizing every year based on its mission to highlight its role in interacting with national issues and its sense of social responsibility towards them, and highlighting the positions of the Hashemites towards the city of Jerusalem in particular and Palestine in general, where he stressed the importance of the role of the historical Hashemite guardianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem in protecting the holy sites, their identity and historical character

During his speech, the President of the University, Prof.al-Widyan, welcomed the University's guests at this seminar, and pointed out that the continued care of the Hashemites and their interest in Jerusalem at historical stages that they bequeathed generation after generation. The Hashemites devoted their efforts to preserving its Islamic and Christian holy sites because of their historical association with a He tries to change the sights of the holy city and obliterate its identity

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Conference of Jerusalem, Dr. Ezzat Jaradat, pointed out that Jerusalem is the basil of Islamic countries and its precious essence on the blessed land of God, as Jerusalem alone has collected in its urban character all types of Islamic architecture, as the Muslim governors were keen to contribute to adding an urban character that represents their historical era.

The former dean of the College of House of Wisdom, Dr. Al-Hazayma, touched on the history of Palestine in general and Jerusalem in particular, as it is still a fertile field for Zionist claims and means of propaganda, as the claims did not stop at the borders of the Arab world, but were carried out to the depths of the Islamic world.

In turn, the Islamic thinker, His Eminence Hamdi Murad, showed that Jerusalem has a place and influence in the souls. It is the title of world peace and its people are steadfast. The hands of the Hashemites always extend to it, embrace and defend it in the face of Israeli racism that Judaize it. He added that Jerusalem is in the hearts of all peoples sponsored by the Hashemites from the covenants of prophecy to His Majesty King Abdullah II, stressing that guardianship will not depart from the Hashemites, and that the Arab and Islamic position must support this guardianship, and stressed that the Arab and Islamic nation will not abandon Jerusalem and the holy sites and that Jerusalem is divine and its divine care.
