"Amman Arab University" Receives the New Students in an Atmosphere of Joy and Optimism
An atmosphere of joy and optimism prevailed from the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023, and this atmosphere was embodied by the reception given to the new students enrolled at Amman Arab University in all its distinguished majors which was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, under the generous sponsorship of Professor. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The celebration began with the royal peace and verses from the Holy Quran. In her speech, Prof. Al-Tarawneh welcomed the students, wishing them academic years full of vitality, activity and active participation with the university. She also conveyed the greetings of the President of the University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, to the students. In his turn, Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the new students with his speech and invited them to participate in the activities of the university and to participate in student clubs.
It is noteworthy that the Great Amman Municipality band participated in the celebration activities through the dances and patriotic songs of the Jordanian heritage, and the university choir team presented its mark in this celebration with a set of songs, and the celebration was concluded with the singer Hussein Abu Ahmada, where the students interacted with the songs that were presented and the atmosphere prevailed with love and brotherhood among the students, and at the end of the celebration, Prof. Al-Tarawneh honored the supporters of this celebration: Greater Amman Municipality, PepsiCo, Umniah Company, and a lottery was held to select the winners from the Karam market participants and each winner received a cash prize.
