Amman Arab University Receives a Delegation from Dutch Universities

Amman Arab University Receives a Delegation from Dutch Universities 
 
After the participation of Amman Arab University in a networking symposium organized by the Dutch National Foundation, a delegation from several Dutch universities visited Amman Arab University to start the process of networking higher education institutions between the two parties.

The delegation met Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Aviation Scienices, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, the Director of the Consultation and Training Center, Dr. May Al-Shaikhli, the Director of the Innovation and Creativity Center, Dr. Samer Ayasra, the Director of the International Office and External Relations, Dr. Malik Al-Sarhan, and representatives from the College of Engineering and the College of Educational Sciences The Department of Psychology and the College of Business at Amman Arab University is represented by its deans, Prof. Hassan Al-Zoubi, Dean of the College of Business, and Dr. Muhammad Sahweel, on behalf of Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Adenat, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Hiyam Al-Taj, Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, where the visiting delegation listened to a presentation by Dr. Al-Tarawneh.  Through it, she explained the history of the university's founding, its goals and achievements, and the faculties and specializations offered by the university in the bachelor's and master's degrees.

The delegation visited all the university’s facilities and got acquainted with the university’s faculties and its various activities and everything that concerns students in terms of scientific, recreational and social facilities. They discussed with representatives of three Dutch universities about aspects of cooperation and networking in several areas, the most important of which are innovation, creativity and leadership, and academic and student exchange.  At the end of the meeting, Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh honored the members of the delegation from the Dutch universities with the university shield.
