Academic Appointments at Amman Arab University
The Board of Trustees at Amman Arab University decided in its meeting held on Saturday 10/9/2022 , headed by Dr. Omar Mashhour Al-Jazi, Chairman of the Council, and based on the recommendation of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of the University, to approve the continuation of the appointment of Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh as Vice President for Academic Affairs for the academic year 2022 2023 and the continuity of appointing Prof. Muhannad Abu Moghli as Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Aviation Sciences, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad as Acting Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics, and Dr. Bilal Abu Qaddoum as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Sharia for the academic year 2022/2023. The Council also approved to renew the appointment of the Deans, Prof. Hassan Al-Zoubi as Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Hiyam Al-Taj as Acting Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, and Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan as Acting Dean of Student Affairs for the academic year 2022/2023.
The Council also decided to appoint Prof. Ismail Yamin as Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, Prof. Rana Abu Hawij as Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Abdullah Al-Adenat as Dean of the College of Engineering, and Prof. Rashad Badran as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
