Opening of the Sixth International Scientific Conference- Business Faculty at Amman Arab University
Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Wajih Aweys, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister of Education, the scientific conference of Faculty of Business at Amman Arab University started, entitled "Business organizations in the digital age" with the participation of the Jordanian Businessmen Association, and lasted two days at Amman Arab University.
The representative of His Excellency, Dr. Thafer Assaraira, president of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, opened activities of the conference in the presence of Mr. Michel, Nazzal, the representative of the Chairman of the Jordanian Businessmen and President of Amman Arabian University, Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan at the University centennial stage.
Assaraira in his opening speech “appreciated the establishment of this outstanding conference that tackles the concept of organizations as social and vital units built by the brain in order to achieve objectives and Man is the core of development, since human forms the perception of major national vision and aspirations, and from here I realize the importance of these cognitive meetings at our Jordanian universities to access creativity and achieve excellence”.
Mr. Michel Nazzal, a member of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Businessmen, said the issue of digital transformation was one of the most important issues of policy makers at different countries at the Arab level, especially after the various countries confrontation of various economic implications of the Corona pandemic and the creation of changes in global policies as well as in major economies.
In turn, Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan, president of Amman Arab University, welcomed the University visitors and said: “It is my pleasure to welcome you at Amman Arab University and appreciated your good participation in the events of the sixth international conference” and he pointed out that this conference comes within a series of conferences of Faculty of Business, held with the participation of specialists, academics and experts at local, regional and international levels.He also added that this conference is held to achieve the University’s vision of being a regional leader and distinguished University internationally
Chairman of the Conference, Dean of the Faculty of Business at the University, Prof. Hassan al-Zu'bi, expressed his sincere thanks, gratitude and appreciation to all participants in the opening of the work of the Conference, which is an extension of a series of conferences held by the Faculty of Business with the participation of specialists, academics and experts at the local, regional and international levels.
The conference witnessed a distinguished participation of HE Dr. Maan al-Qatamin, who spoke about currencies, digital organizations and digital transformation of being one of the most serious ages and that there is a unilateral Arab states regarding this subject and stressed that this subject should be the title of all conferences in Arab Homeland due to its significance to eradicate unemployment, which works to enter and contribute to civilization.
At the end of the ceremony conducted by Prof. Dr. Zahir Al-Qurashi, President of the University, Dr. Mohamed Al-Widyan, submitted the University shield for the ceremony and the representative of the President of the Jordanian Businessmen Association appreciating their presence at the University and the opening of the conference
