Amman Arab University is Advancing in the Times University Impact Ranking

Amman Arab University achieved an international achievement by achieving rank (801) worldwide in the Times classification of the impact of universities on sustainable development objectives for the best (1591) universities in the world, advanced (200) ranks from last year 2022, despite the entry of (181) new universities into the classification this year. Where it achieved rank (101) in the world and second among Jordanian universities in the sixth goal (clean water and hygiene) and third among Jordanian universities in the fourth goal (quality of education). It also ranked (201) in the world and first locally in the sixteenth goal (peace), justice and strong institutions) from the SDGs, And that is based on its endeavor to build an educational system based on excellence and creativity in accordance with national and international standards, in order to reach global competitiveness in a way that befits Jordan's academic reputation.

On this occasion, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of the University, said that this achievement is the result of distinguished efforts of the university cadres, including members of the teaching and administrative staff and University students, adding that the University’s obtaining this result confirms the distinguished reputation of the university at the local and international levels. Prof.Al-Widyan added that AAU seeks to And constantly to improve and excel in all academic, research and community service fields, pointing out that this achievement is consistent with the University's vision and strategic plan for improvement and development and obtaining an advanced ranking in various prestigious international classifications and accreditations.

Prof. Al-Widyan thanked all the university's employees, led by those in charge of the file in the Office of the Assistant President for Planning and Quality Assurance, the Accreditation and Classification Department, and the National Framework, calling on all to work hard and tirelessly to achieve more progress in the University's classification locally and globally and in all fields.
