"Amman Arab University" Holds its Annual Iftar for Orphans of Local Community Associations
In order to consolidate the role of Amman Arab University in community service and social responsibility, Amman Arab University/Deanship of Student Affairs, within the initiatives of Mozn Amman Arab University, and with the support of the College of Psychological Educational Sciences, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Engineering, and in cooperation with the For You, My Country Association and the We Are Volunteer Athar team, organized a Ramadan Iftar celebration. On the university campus there are (100) orphan children from different associations from the local community (Al-Intisar Association, Mobus Charitable Association, and the Jerusalem Knowledge Association).
At the beginning of the event, Professor Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the attendees and conveyed to them the greetings of the University President and praised the increased participation in such initiatives, which were attended by the Deanship of Student Affairs team, a number of members of the academic and administrative staff, and a group of students and volunteers.
The Iftar celebration included many entertainment segments and recreational games to put a smile on the faces of orphan children, in addition to presenting competitions in an atmosphere of love between the children and the volunteer team and distributing gifts and incentive prizes.
In conclusion, and on behalf of the President of the University, Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, Dr. Hossam Al-Hamad, Assistant to the President for Planning and Quality Assurance, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Khaled Bani Hamdan, honored the We Are the Volunteer Impact team represented by Mr. Ahmed Ajouri, and the Amman Mall administration represented by Dr. Kawkab Al-Tamimi, and gifts were distributed to children.
