
Dr. Nahed Al-Rawashdeh from Amman Arab University Participates in ICBT Edinburgh 2025 Conference in the UK
Amman Arab University participated in the International Conference on Business and Technology (ICBT Edinburgh 2025), which brought together elite experts and academics from around the world to discuss the latest trends and challenges in business, technology, and governance.
Representing Amman Arab University at the conference, held in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, was Dr. Nahed Al-Rawashdeh, Associate Professor in the Accounting Department at the College of Business. During the conference sessions, Dr. Al-Rawashdeh presented a research paper titled:
"Impact of Cash Basis of Accounting Measurement on the Effectiveness of Public Expenditure Control Procedures"
The paper was published in the conference’s scientific journal, Harnessing AI, Machine Learning, and IoT for Intelligent Business, which is indexed in Scopus (Q2 category).
In his research, Dr. Al-Rawashdeh highlighted key findings and recommendations related to the use of cash-basis accounting in government budget preparation, explaining its impact on the effectiveness of public expenditure control procedures and comparing it with alternative accounting methods. The study contributes to the development of government financial systems and enhances their efficiency.
