Amman Arab University Organizes Workshop to Enhance Engineers' Role and Job Market Readiness

Under the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and as part of the university's commitment to aligning academic outcomes with labor market needs while enhancing students' academic and practical skills, the Faculty of Engineering - Civil Engineering Department, in cooperation with the Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office (King Abdullah II Fund for Development), organized an introductory workshop titled "Introduction to SewerGEMS for Sewage Network Design." The workshop was supervised by Engineer Diaa Ali and attended by a number of engineering students.

The workshop aimed to familiarize students with SewerGEMS, one of the leading specialized programs for designing and analyzing sewage networks. Participants were introduced to the program's technical advantages and its role in developing professional infrastructure designs using advanced hydraulic modeling tools.

This event is part of a series of ongoing workshops organized by Amman Arab University to support students and develop their skills in line with modern workplace requirements. The workshop witnessed active participation, with attendees engaging in discussions and exchanging ideas about the program's practical applications. At the conclusion of the event, participation certificates were distributed to students, reaffirming the university's commitment to encouraging student involvement in purposeful extracurricular activities that contribute to their professional and academic preparation.
