
Amman Arab University Organizes Ramadan Iftar Banquet for 100 Orphaned Children
In line with its pioneering role in community service and commitment to social responsibility, Amman Arab University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs under the "Mazin Amman Arab University" initiatives and in cooperation with thawet.afnan Association, organized a Ramadan iftar banquet for 100 orphaned children. The event took place on campus in an atmosphere of warmth and love, attended by Dr. Mohammed Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs, and Dr. Rami Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, along with members of the deanship, academic and administrative staff from various university departments including the Media and Public Relations Department, Supplies and Tenders Department, and Engineering and Services Department, as well as a number of university students and volunteers who contributed to the success of this humanitarian initiative.
The iftar banquet began with a welcoming speech by Dr. Bin Tarif, in which he expressed his pride in hosting this humanitarian initiative at Amman Arab University. He praised the spirit of social solidarity demonstrated through the participation of students, academic and administrative staff, and emphasized that the university places community service among its top priorities and consistently works to instill noble values in its students.
For his part, Dr. Al-Hanandeh appreciated the efforts of all those involved in organizing the event, noting that the growing spirit of volunteerism and initiative among students reflects an advanced awareness of the importance of community work. He stressed that such initiatives are fundamental in building the leadership and conscientious character of university students and contribute to strengthening the sense of belonging and national responsibility.
The event included various entertainment segments and recreational activities that brought joy to the children's hearts, along with interactive competitions and gifts that delighted them. The banquet concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children in a Ramadan atmosphere filled with generosity and humanity.
