College of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University (AAU) Concludes Training Session on "The Role of Education in Building Peace"
In fulfillment of Amman Arab University's social responsibility and in enhancement of its partnership with local community institutions, the College of Arts and Sciences at the University held a training session titled "The Role of Education in Building Peace." This session was conducted in cooperation with Qudrat for Community Development in Mafraq Governorate and was presented by Mr. Farhan Al-Husban, a faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University.
In this context, Al-Husban emphasized that the session focused on several key pillars, most notably: the importance of activating the role of education as a primary tool for achieving peace and social cohesion, exploring the active and central role of youth in spreading a culture of peace and tolerance, and contributing to the reduction of hate speech within their social environment. The session also included a review of the most prominent practices and mechanisms that can enhance the effectiveness of education in building safe and cohesive communities.
This cooperation is part of Amman Arab University's commitment to its social responsibility and its pioneering role in supporting initiatives that promote the values of peace and dialogue.
