Reflecting Amman Arab University's commitment to fostering a spirit of creativity and excellence, Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship at Amman Arab University, participated in the first national conference entitled: "Innovation: A Driver for Industry, Investment, and the Economy." The conference was held in cooperation between the Amman and Jordan Chambers of Industry, in partnership with the Association of Retired Military Engineers and the company JAIP (Joining Academia with Industry Platform).
This conference served as a strategic dialogue platform aimed at enhancing cooperation among the components of the national innovation ecosystem and linking the outputs of scientific research and universities with the needs of the industrial and investment sectors. This aligns with achieving sustainable growth and supporting the national economy. The conference featured dialogue sessions that addressed the challenges and proposals for building a knowledge-based Jordanian economy, with participation from a number of experts and specialists from various sectors. The conference also included a presentation of patents by a group of distinguished inventors before an audience of attendees and interested parties, where twenty inventors showcased their inventions during the conference sessions.
This conference is grounded in the vision of His Hashemite Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein – may God protect him – for building a national economy based on creativity and excellence, and it translates the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince to empower youth and enhance entrepreneurship and innovation
