Amman Arab University Concludes Billiards Championship and Honors Winners

Amman Arab University (AAU) Concludes Billiards Championship and Honors Winners

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote extracurricular activities and develop student skills, and under the patronage of Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, the Deanship of Student Affairs / Student Activities Department organized a billiards championship for the university's students.

The tournament saw the participation of 30 students from various academic specializations. It was inaugurated by Professor Ismail Yamin, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, who attended on behalf of the University President. He expressed his best wishes for success to all participants, emphasizing the importance of competing with a sportsmanlike spirit that reflects values of cooperation and respect among students.

For his part, Dr. Mohammad Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, welcomed the patron of the championship and the participating students. He pointed out that the Deanship of Student Affairs places great importance on organizing numerous extracurricular activities that contribute to refining student skills and enhancing a spirit of cooperation among them.

The championship was marked by an atmosphere full of excitement and sportsmanship among the competing students. The matches were officiated by Mr. Fouad Tbeishat, Head of the Student Activities Department, along with Mr. Mu'ath Al-Shorman and Mr. Malik Aliyan, the gym coaches.

At the conclusion of the championship, Dr. Rami Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, honored the students who won the top three positions. The results were as follows:

• First Place: Student Ali Azzam Jarar, College of Information Technology

• Second Place: Student Ayham Kamal Al-Jagal, College of Business

• Third Place: Student Abdulrahman Asir Al-Zoubi, College of Pharmacy

This championship is part of a series of sporting extracurricular activities organized by Amman Arab University for its students, held in a competitive atmosphere with advanced equipment. Organizing such activities aims to develop, enrich, and solidify the role of student activities, forming a nucleus for university teams to participate in external events and represent the university at various local and international forums.
