
Law Faculty at Amman Arab University Participates in Advanced Workshop on "Arbitration in Construction Contracts"
In line with Amman Arab University's commitment to strengthening its academic standing and advancing higher education, the Faculty of Law participated in an advanced training workshop titled "Arbitration in Construction Contracts," organized by Al-Israa University. The event was attended by Engineer Omar Al-Fazza, Dr. Hashem Al-Shahwan (Member of the Bar Association), and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shawabkeh, alongside a select group of academics and legal arbitration experts.
Representing Amman Arab University were Dr. Ahmed Al-Badawi and Dr. Abdulhadi Rashdan, faculty members at the Faculty of Law. Their participation underscores the college’s dedication to fostering academic partnerships and engaging in training initiatives that align with the latest legal developments, both locally and regionally.
The workshop covered key themes, including, "The Role of Arbitration in Attracting Investment" Highlighting arbitration as an effective dispute resolution mechanism that provides a secure legal environment, encouraging investors to enter the local market. "Arbitration in Construction Contracts" Focusing on the unique nature of construction contracts, the legal and technical challenges they entail, and the best mechanisms for resolving disputes in such agreements.
The event featured legal trainers and experts who discussed critical issues related to construction contract arbitration, presenting real-world case studies and practical solutions based on field experience.
This workshop reflects ongoing efforts to enhance legal awareness and facilitate knowledge exchange among Jordanian universities, contributing to the development of academic and legal competencies while supporting higher education institutions in elevating the quality of their educational and training outputs.
