The Faculty of Business at Amman Arab University Meets with Its Graduates

The Faculty of Business, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, organized an interactive meeting aimed at strengthening communication with its graduates through the (Teams) platform. The event was attended by Dr. Ahood Al-Khasawneh, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr. Hussein Awad, Vice Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rami Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Wael Al-Hourani, Director of the Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up Office, and several faculty members from the Faculty of Business. The purpose of the meeting was to build sustainable bridges between the faculty and its graduates, fostering a sense of belonging to the university community.

Dr. Al-Khasawneh opened the meeting with an encouraging speech in which she expressed the faculty’s pride and appreciation for the graduates' successes and distinguished contributions in various fields. She thanked them for attending such meetings, which keep them connected with their alma mater, and emphasized the Faculty of Business's commitment to gathering feedback from its graduates regarding both the academic and administrative aspects of the faculty.

In his turn, Dr. Bin Tarif welcomed the graduates, emphasizing the university’s commitment to maintaining continuous communication with its alumni and benefiting current students from the graduates' academic and professional experiences. He also encouraged the graduates to update their information on the university’s graduate portal and to join the Amman Arab University Alumni Forum on Facebook.

The meeting featured a rich exchange of ideas and experiences, with graduates sharing their success stories and professional challenges. They also offered suggestions for developing academic programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the job market, in addition to highlighting the benefits available to graduates after their studies. Several success stories from the faculty’s graduates were also presented.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Al-Khasawneh stressed the importance of continuing such meetings to strengthen the cooperation between the faculty and its graduates, while fostering a spirit of creativity, ambition, and belonging among both students and alumni. She also noted that the faculty will continue to support all of its members in their academic and professional journeys.
