
Dr. Al-Shawareb from Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in China-Arab Civilizations Dialogue Conference in China
Dr. Iyad Al-Shawareb, a faculty member in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, participated in the 11th session of the China-Arab Civilizations Dialogue Conference held in Beijing. Under the patronage of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the General Secretariat of the Arab League, the conference brought together Arab delegations and representatives from various community organizations, alongside a select group of faculty from Arab universities.
During the conference, Dr. Al-Shawareb presented a research paper exploring ways to enhance mutual understanding between the peoples of China and Arab nations within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. He proposed actionable steps, including expanding student and academic exchange programs and providing specialized scholarships for teaching the Chinese and Arabic languages. His participation also included meetings with faculty from Chinese universities to discuss prospects for cultural exchange, academic partnerships, and reviewing advancements in technology and artificial intelligence applications in education. This engagement reflects the university's ongoing strategy to strengthen its position as a leading academic institution in scientific research.
