
The College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in the e-AGE25 Conference
The College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University participated in the e-AGE25 Conference, organized by the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN). The University was represented at the conference by Dr. Sara Nasereddin, Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy, through her participation in a panel discussion on empowering women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The session was attended by a distinguished group of academics, experts, and decision-makers from across the Arab region.
In this context, Dr. Nasereddin emphasized that the e-AGE25 Conference serves as an important regional platform for addressing issues related to digital transformation, capacity building, and the empowerment of women in scientific and technological sectors. She noted that participation in this panel discussion provided a genuine opportunity to highlight the challenges faced by women in STEM fields, as well as to discuss practical solutions and supportive policies to enhance their leadership, research, and innovation roles.
Dr. Nasereddin’s participation in the conference comes within the framework of the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University’s commitment to supporting women’s empowerment and strengthening their role in scientific research, innovation, and academic leadership. Through her academic and research expertise, she contributed to enriching the discussion on the importance of building a supportive educational and research environment for women and encouraging girls to pursue scientific and technological disciplines, in line with the priorities of sustainable development and the development of a knowledge-based economy in the Arab region.
