
College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University Organizes Training Workshop on Electronic Content Management in E-Learning Systems
Amman – The College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University organized a training workshop titled "How to Use and Manage Electronic Content in the E-Learning System" via Microsoft Teams. The workshop was presented by Dr. Layal Al-Zabin and Dr. Tariq Al-Bashtawi, faculty members in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Information Technology, under the supervision and support of the college’s dean, Dr. Rami Sahwil.
The workshop covered a range of important practical topics aimed at enhancing faculty performance and improving the efficiency of using the e-learning system. Key discussions includedوManaging asynchronous electronic content for courses on the e-learning platform. Creating synchronous and asynchronous lecture links via Microsoft Teams. Setting up Course Groups for each subject to enhance communication between faculty and students. Establishing the Meta-Link feature to connect shared study sections. Presenting diverse learning strategies tailored to different student needs. Addressing challenges faculty face in preparing weekly asynchronous content.
The workshop aimed to enhance faculty skills in using digital learning tools and develop methods for delivering electronic educational content, thereby improving the learning environment and overcoming challenges related to distance education. The session saw remarkable interaction from participants, who expressed appreciation for the content and the practical expertise shared during the event.
