
Chairman and President of Amman Arab University (AAU) Visit Jordanian House of Representatives
In a step to strengthen national partnership and integration between educational and legislative institutions, Dr. Omar Mashhour Al-Jazy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Amman Arab University, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Widyan, President of the University, visited the Jordanian House of Representatives. They were received by the Speaker of the House, His Excellency Mr. Mazen Al-Qadi, to congratulate him on his assumption of the speakership and to discuss prospects for joint cooperation.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Jazy expressed the university's pride in the vital role of the House of Representatives in supporting higher education and developing legislation that enhances the university environment in Jordan. He emphasized the university's keenness to strengthen institutional cooperation with the Council in ways that serve students and promote national development. For his part, Speaker Al-Qadi appreciated the distinguished achievements of Amman Arab University in education, scientific research, and community service, highlighting the importance of its role in preparing qualified national cadres. He welcomed enhancing cooperation through joint initiatives and interactive visits that would deepen students' understanding of parliamentary work. This visit reflects the university's ongoing efforts to build effective bridges of cooperation with state institutions in service of its vision to contribute to the educational system in Jordan.
