Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in the Launch of the "Career Accelerator" Program and Kaspersky's Digital Initiatives

In implementation of the directives of Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the College of Engineering, participated in the launch event of the Career Accelerator Program and Kaspersky's programs. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Sami Smirat, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and in the presence of His Excellency Professor Azmi Mahafza, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It took place at the Queen Rania Academy for Information Technology within the King Hussein Business Park - Amman.

The opening session witnessed the signing of executive partnership agreements with the "INJAZ" Foundation and the "PRODUCE" Association. It was also announced that "Kaspersky" would join as a new provider within the accredited international certification program, alongside specialized technical presentations from major global companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, and Red Hat.

In this context, Dr. Al-Assaf emphasized the importance of keeping pace with national trends in digital transformation by integrating modern technical skills into academic curricula and enabling students to build clear career paths. He indicated that Amman Arab University continues to support initiatives that enhance students' readiness for the job market and open competitive prospects for them locally and internationally.

On the sidelines of the event, in-person technical training sessions were organized, attended by faculty members and students from various Jordanian universities, including Amman Arab University. These sessions, presented by specialists from global training companies, aimed to deepen digital understanding, exchange expertise, and empower youth to engage efficiently in the rapidly evolving digital job market.

This participation falls within Amman Arab University's keenness to enhance its partnerships with the public and private sectors and to activate cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in the fields of digital training. This contributes to developing students' capabilities and equipping them with skills that meet the demands of the labor market.
