Amman Arab University Participates in the "Change Makers Summit to Accelerate the Energy Transition through Entrepreneurship and Innovation"

Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in the "Change Makers Summit to Accelerate the Energy Transition through Entrepreneurship and Innovation"

Under the directives of Professor Dr. Mohamed Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and with the follow-up of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dr. Akram Mousa, Head of the Renewable Energy Engineering Department in the Faculty of Engineering, and the student branch of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) at Amman Arab University, participated in the third annual meeting of student branches in Jordan. The event, titled "Youth Change Makers Summit: Accelerating the Energy Transition through Entrepreneurship and Innovation," was held under the patronage of Eng. Abdullah Asem Ghosheh, President of the Jordanian Engineers Association, and organized by the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Society (REES) in Jordan.

During the event, students from the University's AEE branch participated in the scientific day activities, where they had the opportunity to network with elite experts and specialists in the energy sector within a scientific atmosphere that enriches knowledge and promotes the exchange of expertise. The students also presented innovative scientific posters in the dedicated exhibition, reflecting their creative ideas and entrepreneurial projects in the field of sustainable energy.

At the conclusion of the event, the student branch members were honored in recognition of their outstanding efforts in managing and organizing the Association's activities, which reflect a bright image of Amman Arab University students. The honored students were: Abdullah Abu Rabee', Mahfouz Abu Haniya, Shahd Al-Shab, Rama Husam, and Reem Khoshan.

It is worth noting that this participation is part of a series of extracurricular activities carried out by Amman Arab University, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing partnerships with the local community and empowering its students to acquire the necessary skills to support innovation in the field of renewable energy.
