Amman Arab University (AAU) Organizes a Training Workshop titled "Psychodrama"
Amman Arab University, through the Dean of Student Affairs/Student Counseling Department in cooperation with the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, organized a training workshop titled "Psychodrama" for university students, graduates, and the local community. The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Suhaila Banat, a faculty member in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences.
Dr. Rami Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, opened the workshop, emphasizing the importance of psychodrama as a modern counseling method that enhances self-awareness and develops students' emotional and social skills. Dr. Banat explained the concept, objectives, core elements, and stages of psychodrama, along with the role of the leader in sessions. The workshop included practical, interactive applications, allowing participants to engage in activities and exercises, thereby linking theory with practice.
The event concluded with participants expressing their appreciation for the workshop's significant scientific and practical impact on their psychological awareness and personal skills. In line with the university’s commitment to student mental health, Dr. Hanandeh and Ms. Shatha Al-Rabee', Head of the Student Counseling Department, honored Dr. Banat and distributed certificates to the participating students.
