Her Highness Princess Basma bint Ali and "Amman Arab University" celebrate Tree Day
Her Highness Princess Basma bint Ali, may God protect her, the founder of the Royal Botanical Garden, sponsored the celebration organized by the park in cooperation with Amman Arab University on Tree Day, which falls on January 15 of each year, in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Mohamed Al-Widyan, the garden staff and University staff.
The park administration granted Amman Arab University an area of (25) dunums of land of the Royal Park for planting with trees that the park worked to preserve from extinction. The celebration included planting trees in order to contribute to afforestation efforts with the participation of a number of students of Amman Arab University.
On the sidelines of the celebration, a team from the Royal Botanical Garden briefed on the restoration of the Tree Museum in the Royal Botanical Garden, which will be sustained by Amman Arab University.
