Educational Experiences at "Amman Arab University" Contribute to the Professional Development of Faculty Members at the Modern Arab Academy

Amman – Coping with the endeavors of Amman Arab University  to achieve entrepreneurship and excellence in serving the local community, College of Educational and Psychological Sciences of Amman Arab University held a training program in the schools of the Modern Arab Academy under the title "Using Multiple Intelligences in Teaching" presented by Dr. Jihad Momani, a faculty member at Curriculum and teaching major.The participating teaching staff underwent a pre-test in multiple intelligences for the trainer to identify the types of intelligences they have, as well as between the types of intelligences during the program and how to develop and employ each type in the teaching process.

The training presentation was accompanied by practical exercises on the intelligences, and a presentation of an integrated lesson according to the multiple intelligences.

In addition, Dr. Anas Al-Hanandeh, a faculty member at the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, implemented another training program entitled "Modern Technologies in Education and Its Applications", during which modern technologies used in some countries of the world and their importance in the educational process were discussed, and some applications were reviewed.

Modern technologies used in augmented reality at Amman Arab University and educational games, and the most prominent websites that help teachers choose different applications and employ them in the learning and teaching processes.
For their part, the participants expressed their happiness in this program for its importance, to ensure that it keeps pace with developments and qualitative transitions that the educational process is undergoing, and to enable them to take into account the individual differences between students during their teaching.

The event concluded with a speech from the Director General of the school, Dr. Alia Abu Rayan, who praised the distinguished role of Amman Arab University in contributing to the development and upgrading of the academic staff’s competencies and thanked those in charge of it.
