The President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, confirmed to postgraduate students and undergraduate students at the university, in the quarterly meeting organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, that they are the most important circle in the university.

With the progress that has taken place in recent years, we look forward to continuing to make Amman Arab University one of the best Arab universities at all levels, calling on students to continue communicating with the university, participating in curricular and extracurricular activities, and excelling in creating pioneering creative initiatives and ideas

Prof. Al-Widyan indicated that Amman Arab University was and still enjoys its distinguished position since its establishment as the first private university for postgraduate studies, and indicated that students are an integral part of the university and the best representative of it as ambassadors for the university, and you are the hope for thought and improvement.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Certificate from the Council of the Higher Education Institutions Accreditation and Quality Assurance Board, which contributes to the readiness of its graduates to engage in the labor market, and the College of Computing and Informatics Sciences at the university obtained a quality assurance certificate granted by the Higher Education Institutions Accreditation Authority and its quality assurance for a period of three years after Completion of all quality requirements and standards at the level of the college and its academic programs. In addition to other international certificates such as ISO 2001, in addition to an ambitious plan to obtain international accreditation for all university programs.

Regarding scientific research, Prof. Ismail Yamin, Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, touched on the most important steps that postgraduate students must know from the beginning of the student’s registration at the university until his graduation, and indicated that the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies aims through its various departments and activities to raise the level of scientific research Providing services, facilities, and moral and material support to researchers from faculty members and postgraduate students.

In this regard, Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, said that the university's students are like a mosaic with the diversity of nationalities in it, which now has (27) nationalities from different countries of the world. He indicated that the university is working on launching a club for graduates, calling for participation in presenting proposals that will enable the university to continue to lead and excel

He pointed out that the university's official website and social media channels are the official body for everything related to university news and announcements. During his speech, he touched on the importance of participating in the Student Portfolio, which is unique at the level of Jordanian higher education institutions, and which enables university students to acquire all human, applied and professional skills during Their studies at the university through their participation in many activities, courses and free workshops that are systematic and studied and distributed over all years of study with specific timetables that will enhance their resume and future career path.

He also talked about the system for regulating the practice of partisan activities in higher education institutions for the year 2022. Dr. Bani Hamdan urged students to participate in student clubs that enhance their presence in the university culturally, athletically, artistically and scientifically.

The meeting, which was characterized by transparency, dealt with issues of new projects and majors that the university intends to provide for its students, in addition to the most prominent issues facing them, including university fees and how to meet them.
